Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Expands Leadership Team

SUWANEE, Ga. - May 1, 2008 - To support growing market share and its presence in the industry, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division has promoted Eric Griffin and Ron Newman to sales directors.
"Because of the steady growth we've seen in the past few years, we are expanding our division so that we can continue to support the demand for our technology," says Bud Nardello, vice president of sales, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. "Ron and Eric have been with the company for many years and will be fundamental in implementing strategic sales plans throughout all sales zones."
Eric Griffin has been promoted to western sales director, overseeing the central and western sales zones. Griffin has been with Mitsubishi Electric HVAC since 1986. He began as a regional manager based out of Texas and California. In 1993, he became the western zone sales manager. He also has worked in national accounts sales and most recently was the central zone manager. Before joining the Division, Griffin worked as a sales manager for Square D, Chicago, Ill. He holds a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas.
To support the eastern United States, Ron Newman has been promoted to eastern sales director, overseeing the northeastern and southern zones. Newman has worked at Mitsubishi Electric HVAC since 1992, first as an area manager and most recently as the northeastern zone manager. Before joining the Division, Newman worked as a territory manager for Connecticut Air Conditioning, Orange, Conn. He also worked at the New England York distributor, Heat Inc., Hudson, N.H. Newman attended Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic, Conn.
In their new positions,
Griffin and Newman concentrate on growing the Mitsubishi Diamond
Alliance™ by developing, coordinating and leading the strategic
planning process in their respective zones. They also identify
competitive situations for Mitsubishi Electric HVAC and ensure
emerging opportunities are effectively addressed. Griffin and
Newman work closely with zone managers to ensure they connect with
distributors and manufacturer's representatives. They also
contribute to the planning and implementation of sales and
marketing strategies within their respective sales zones.
