Mitsubishi Electric Welcomes 14 New Staff Members

- Mitsubishi Electric HVAC, Suwanee, Ga., has added fourteen
new staff members to
various departments over the past year, according to William Rau,
senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric
HVAC.
"The addition of qualified individuals to our growing staff
illustrates our strength and leadership in the industry. Our sales,
service and training departments have added qualified individuals
in order to meet industry demand. Now, more than ever, we are ready
to meet the demands of the marketplace," says Rau.
The service department has welcomed four new faces over the past
year. Jim Jordan and Travis Byrd have joined the company as
technical service advisors in the Atlanta Call Center, handling
technical assistance calls with the Mr. Slim® M- and P-Series.
Robert Serafin, Curt Griffin and Darrell Smith augment Mitsubishi's
growth in the East, West and Midwest as area service managers for
those territories.
Ken Brown brings eight years of award-winning instructional
design and nine years of undergraduate teaching experience to the
Atlanta Training Center, as the training manager for Mitsubishi
Electric HVAC.
With over 27 years of HVAC sales experience, John Matson joins
the sales department in the position of northeast regional manager.
Seven others also join the sales team, including David Gilles
(West) and John Wright (Central) as area sales engineers; Ruben
Willmarth as regional sales manager for the Western U.S.; Dennis
Cobb as the new area manager in Florida, bringing over 20 years of
experience to an already strong sales team; and Dan Keck and Will
Scott as new area sales managers in the Central U.S. Jeb Bates,
with over 15 years of professional and industry experience with
HVAC products, also joins the company as the New England CITY MULTI
specialist.

Accomplishments
A 2004 survey by ACH&R News listed Mitsubishi Electric as
contractors' most preferred ductless manufacturer and the number
one brand in price/value, availability, reliability and performance
specifications. In 2004, Mr. Slim received a Bronze Award in
ACH&R News' Dealer Design Awards contest and CITY MULTI
received a Bronze Award in the HVAC product category in 2005 for
Consulting Specifying Engineer's Product of the Year contest.
Additionally, in 2003, the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Institute (ARI) recognized Mitsubishi Electric HVAC for achieving a
