MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC HVAC INCREASES CAPABILITIES OF TRAINING DEPARTMENT
SUWANEE, Ga.,
October 4, 2007 - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products
Division, Suwanee, Ga., has recently increased the capabilities of
its training department to include additional staff members and
improvements to class curriculum.
"In the past month, our training department has seen not only a
significant staff increase, but enhancements in our class
curriculum as well," says Ken Brown, division training manager,
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. "These changes are integral in providing
our customers with the best service possible, which is vital to
maintaining our position as the industry leader in
innovation."
One fundamental change to the training department is the addition
of Jason Arrow, training and resource operations supervisor.
Arrow's role allows the training department to become more
centralized in planning, organizing and implementing training
courses across the country.
Before joining Mitsubishi Electric HVAC, Arrow worked for almost 10
years as a senior training specialist at Massachusetts Financial
Services, Boston, Mass., where he co-developed and successfully
implemented company-wide training initiatives for more than 3,000
employees. Arrow also has held positions as a corporate trainer,
research analyst and account specialist.
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC also has redesigned and renamed its Mr.
Slim® systems contractor workshop. Now called the
"Accelerate! A Race to the Top" workshop, the class provides
contractors around the country a first point of contact with the
division. This informative training class, which focuses on Mr.
Slim products and service, provides contractors with hands-on
activities and conveys information about how a partnership with
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC can benefit their business.
With a goal of holding 40 workshops this year, the sales team has
already succeeded by holding 42 workshops so far, with more
scheduled for the remainder of the year. Centered around a "rally
racing" theme, the "Accelerate!" workshop encourages contractors to
"start their engines" and accelerate their sales with Mr. Slim
products.
"We are focused on making the training classes more interactive and
engaging for our customers," says Brown. "Through this, we can
ensure our end-users around the country have access to informed,
well-trained contractors."
The growth of the training department is further evident by the
four U.S. Mitsubishi Training Centers located in Atlanta, Chicago,
Dallas and Irvine. These training centers feature fully functional
CITY MULTI® VRFZ systems and Mr. Slim split-ductless
equipment to allow in-depth, interactive training sessions for
contractors across the country. A variety of training courses are
available at all locations.
