Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Promotes Joel Larson to Interim Division Controller

SUWANEE, Ga., July 29, 2011 - Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, America's No. 1 selling brand of ductless cooling and heating systems, today announced the promotion of Joel Larson to interim controller for the Cooling & Heating division.
"Since joining Mitsubishi Electric, Joel has been an asset to our financial team," says Bill Rau, senior vice president and general manager Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating. "His proven leadership abilities make him a great fit for this position, and we look forward to his contribution."
Larson has been working at Mitsubishi Electric for two years and previously held the title of financial analyst. Prior to Mitsubishi Electric, Larson worked at Philips Global, headquartered in Andover, Mass., as a head financial analyst and as a senior accountant in the company's health care group for five years.
As interim controller for the Cooling & Heating division, Larson will oversee the accounting operations for the division. His responsibilities include managing the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
Larson earned both his bachelor's degrees in finance and German at Wittenburg University, Springfield, Ohio.
