New Senior Management Position,
New Western Zone Manager
SUWANEE, Ga., March 31, 2010 - In support of its continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions (Mitsubishi) announces the expansion of their sales force with the creation of a new position and the addition of a new zone manager to the Mitsubishi team.
Buddy Delaney, formerly the western zone manager for Mitsubishi, has accepted the position of manager, strategic accounts and utilities, a new senior management position within Mitsubishi. Doug Romeo will be the new western zone manager for Mitsubishi.

Buddy's industry experience and relationship-building qualities make him perfect for this position," says Eric Griffin, director of sales -central and western zones, Mitsubishi, "This is a new endeavor for our sales department and now we have a seasoned professional leading that effort."
In this new role, Delaney will be managing Mitsubishi's sales effort, concentrating on utilities and organizations promoting energy efficiency.
"Buddy's efforts and leadership will help increase product sales by leveraging the marketing strategies of electric utilities that align with ours, and allow Mitsubishi to have a larger presence at utility conferences and events," said Griffin.
Delaney joined Mitsubishi seven years ago as a regional sales manager for southern California, Arizona and Hawaii. He held the position of western zone manager for four years before accepting his current position. Before joining Mitsubishi, Delaney spent 10 years as the vice president and general manager of Potter Roemer, a Los Angeles manufacturer and distributor to the interior fire protection industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis.
Doug Romeo joins Mitsubishi with more than 25 years of industry experience. Most recently, he was the general manager of the Lacy and Seattle, Wash., branches of the contracting firm Temp Control Mechanical Services (TCMS), Portland, Ore. Romeo spent 10 years with York International, York, Pa., a heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration supplier, as regional manager and factory branch sales manager. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he began his training in HVAC. Romeo will use his sales skills and leadership to grow commercial and residential sales within the western zone region.
