Two New Training Centers in Northeastern Zone
Monday, April 20, 2009
SUWANEE, Ga. - April 20,
2009 - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division
is excited to annouce the addition of two new training centers
located in the Northeastern zone. The opening of these new centers
further underscores Mitsubishi Electric HVAC's commitment to
providing contractors, engineers and distributors throughout the
country with the best training and sales information possible,
according to Tony Hayes, Director of Service, Mitsubishi Electric
HVAC.
The Northeastern zone office and Boston Training Center (BTC),
which opened in March 2009, features more than 4,700 square feet of
space, 1,600 of which is dedicated to training. The center will
host both CITY MULTI® VRFZ and Mr. Slim® installation and service
and sales training courses, plus other product information
seminars. The remaining space will house the Northeastern zone
sales office.
"With the opening of our fifth corporate training center, we hope
to make it easier for our customers to receive instruction at an
easy-to-reach, centralized location," says Hayes. "The new BTC also
allows us to ensure end-user customers around the country have
access to well-trained contractors, quality products and the best
possible service."
The BTC features fully functional CITY MULTI VRFZ and Mr. Slim
split-ductless equipment. The training center contains various
centralized, wired and wireless remote controllers to round out the
training. The classroom has a fully integrated audio/visual
presentation system to allow for interactive training
sessions.
"The extensive training helps contractors improve their skills and
effectiveness, as well as their bottom line," says Hayes. "End-user
customers also benefit because contractors who have completed the
training courses are fully equipped and qualified to sell, install
and service Mitsubishi products."
Located 45 minutes west of Boston in South Borough, Mass., the
sales and training center is a convenient destination for
contractors, engineers and distributors who want to participate in
training courses or hold and attend sales meetings. In addition,
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC's service training program is a registered
provider for North American Technician Excellence (NATE)
Recertification. Mitsubishi Electric HVAC training centers also are
located in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Irvine, Calif.
In addition to the opening of Mitsubishi Electric HVAC's
Northeastern facility, ABCO Refrigeration Supply Corporation,
located in Long Island City, N.Y., recently celebrated the opening
of the first authorized Mitsubishi Electric HVAC training facility
in the tri-state area. The center, located in White Plains, N.Y.,
features more than 1,700 square feet of high-tech training space in
a state-of-the-art 30,000-square-foot facility.
ABCO, a Mitsubishi Electric HVAC distributor, hopes this center
will provide their valued customers with the finest in technical,
marketing and business management training in a convenient location
for HVAC/R contractors working in Connecticut, New Jersey and New
York.
"We were enthusiastic about the opportunity to develop this
high-tech training center in conjunction with Mitsubishi Electric
and we look forward to sharing its value with all of our
customers," says Michael Senter, chief executive officer, ABCO
Refrigeration Supply Corporation.
