Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Appoints Marc Zipfel as Director of Product Marketing

SUWANEE, Ga., July 18, 2011 - Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating (Mitsubishi Electric), America's No. 1 selling brand of ductless cooling and heating systems, announced that Marc Zipfel has been appointed to the position of director of product marketing.

"With more than 15 years of marketing experience, Marc brings an invaluable set of skills to our expanding marketing team," says Bill Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating. "Mitsubishi Electric is experiencing exponential growth in the U.S. market, and Marc's leadership in product marketing will help pave the way for continued sales increases."

As director of product marketing, Zipfel drives brand positioning of Mitsubishi Electric products and services in both the residential and commercial markets. He is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans for product launches and managing affiliated agencies within Mitsubishi Electric.

Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric, Zipfel was a director of brand marketing for In Zone Brands, Inc. He has also worked as group brand manager of household products for BioLab, Inc., an account director on the M&M/Mars account at D'Arcy Advertising and a brand manager at Nestlé Purina.

Zipfel earned bachelor's degrees in marketing and advertising from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
