High-rise multi-zone buildings
present significant challenges for HVAC systems. You need large
capacities to service a great number of floors, but you also need
the flexibility to treat each floor and zone within a floor
independently for maximum, personalized comfort control. What's
more, you need to provide increasingly energy efficient
solutions.
Mitsubishi Electric provides you
with powerful and efficient - yet flexible - solutions that help
you meet a wide range of cooling and heating needs. Our
industry-leading VRF zoning systems are designed to be modular and
configurable to provide you with many options to design the best
solution for your unique needs:
-
Indoor units come in ducted and
ductless variations and are designed to be placed just about
anywhere you want in your interior spaces. Our ductless
configurations free up valuable interior space so you can increase
ceiling height or even get more usable floors without increasing
your building envelope. And, our ducted systems have low profile
ducting, reducing the amount ceiling space required to conceal the
systems.
-
Condensing units have a wide
range of capacities depending on your needs and can utilize a
number of cooling and heating energy sources. What's more, they are
compact and quiet, simplifying system design.
The Capacity to Handle Big
Jobs
Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems provide you with modular
condensing units that offer you great flexibility to match your
capacity needs. A single condensing unit in our R2-Series can
handle up to 20 tons and our Y-series can handle up to 30 tons.
Combine a number of condensing units and you can increase the
overall capacity of the system. And, since each condensing unit can
connect to up to 50 indoor units, your zoning capacity expands
exponentially.
Our systems have no problem
handling the line length requirements of high-rise buildings. The
modular chassis on our outdoor units can accommodate combined
length of refrigerant piping to indoor units of up to 3,280 feet
one way. By placing one set of condensing units on the roof and one
set on the ground, you can double the total line length
available.
Efficient Systems that Reduce
Costs
With innovative INVERTER and expansion-valve technology,
Mitsubishi systems consistently perform at 25% higher efficiency
than traditional systems.
Quiet Environments for Your
Tenants
Mitsubishi systems have been thoughtfully designed to minimize
disruption to your interior and exterior environments.

Tenant Metering
Gives you the ability to bill out for HVAC electricity consumption
per tenant rather than resorting to approximate usage. You can also
tally electrical usage per system or per indoor unit, depending on
how your building and systems are configured.
HVAC Simplified
Mitsubishi systems have been designed to simplify everything from
design and installation to integration, management and
maintenance.
