Quiet Split Ductless HVAC Systems

When it comes to operating at near-silent levels, no other HVAC system outperforms Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating VRF and split-zoning solutions. Our systems are quiet, powerful and simple to install. With just three main components - an indoor unit, outdoor unit and controller - it's as simple as mounting the indoor and outdoor units, connecting the refrigerant lines and making a few electrical connections.

With a number of innovative features that keep noise disruption to a minimum, Mitsubishi Electric systems are ideal for environments like classrooms, places or worship, healthcare facilities, libraries, theaters and any other place that demands quiet.

Low dB(A) Operation
Our indoor and outdoor units have been thoughtfully and purposefully designed to operate at extremely quiet levels. Indoor units on Mr. Slim systems run from 19 dB(A) at low speed to 49 dB(A) at high speed. CITY MULTI systems range from 22 dB(A) at low speed to 47 dB(A) at high speed, which is the same sound level that you expect from a whisper, the hum of a refrigerator or the inside of a library.

Outdoor units on CITY MULTI systems operate at levels as low as 58 dB(A) - the level of a common office environment, restaurant conversation or background music. Our loudest units peak at 65 dB(A), less than the sound of a vacuum cleaner.

Not only do these sound levels provide you with the quiet you need, but it also gives you more flexibility for placement of units - indoors and outdoors.

INVERTER Technology
System compressors quietly ramp up or down, depending on the cooling or heating demand. You don't have to worry about the constant disruption of traditional systems that loudly turn on and off all day long.

Ductless System Options and Split-Ductless
All Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems operate at exceptionally quiet levels - with quiet indoor and outdoor units and INVERTER technology. Some systems are also available in ductless configurations that deliver refrigerant directly to the spaces to be cooled or heated. This eliminates the noise associated with ductwork and results in a virtually silent environment.
