Data Center

Data Center
Precisely controlling the environment in your data center is critical to maximizing availability and performance of essential equipment. And the challenges of cooling these spaces mount as the move to smaller servers results in significantly higher power consumption and more heat generation.

Data centers require spot cooling solutions that are designed to remove the total heat output of a room. Whether you are designing your data center from the ground up or upgrading an existing data center, Mitsubishi Electric has the innovative VRF solutions that can help keep your critical systems up and running.

Spot-On Solutions for Data Centers
Because data centers are high-density, enclosed spaces that generate a significant amount of heat, comfort cooling systems (traditional HVAC) can't remove enough heat to protect the critical equipment. Instead, these unique areas require dedicated units with precision cooling capabilities.

Innovative Features for Your Needs

Precise Temperature Control
Mitsubishi compressors utilize innovative INVERTER-driven technology to maintain the right temperature. By responding to indoor and outdoor temperature changes, these ductless systems vary the compressor speed to meet load requirements and maintain the setpoint temperature.

With i-see™ Sensors (available on select models), our indoor units detect the temperature in regions closer to the ceiling and the floor to adjust the air output to maintain cooling performance. Additionally, the sensor also controls the airflow up to a 90° lateral angle for ultimate control by scanning the room and making adjustments based on the ambient temperature readings.

HVAC Simplified
Mitsubishi systems have been designed to simplify everything from design to installation, integration, management and maintenance. Learn more

Scalability
As your data center grows, it's easy to add more cooling capacity. With ductless systems, you can add more units to cool larger spaces. Or, you can utilize Twinning kits that spread current system capacity over a larger area (dependent upon total system capacity).

Energy Efficient Systems
With innovative INVERTER and expansion-valve technology, Mitsubishi systems consistently perform at 25% higher efficiency than traditional systems. Learn more
