Historic buildings can present
significant challenges when adding or updating an HVAC is part of
the renovation. They often lack the space for ductwork and their
electrical systems were not likely designed to handle modern
central cooling and heating. What's more, adding modern-day
conveniences while maintaining the architectural and aesthetic
integrity of the building's original day presents further
challenges.
That's where a Mitsubishi Electric
Variable Refrigerant system really shines. Our solutions are
flexible and modular and are specifically designed to minimize the
disruption - visually and audibly - to your environment.
Minimized Visual
Disruption
Mitsubishi VRF systems can be configured in a number of ways to
minimize the visual disruption to your structure. From ductless
systems that only require a 3" hole for installation to low-profile
ducted systems. And, our indoor units can be mounted just about
anywhere (on the ceiling, wall, floor, in a closet) to blend into
your environment.
Outside, our condensing units are
compact and light enough to be placed on a roof, without
compromising the structural integrity of the building. And, with
small refrigerant lines providing the necessary cooling and
heating, the lines can be easily camouflaged on the outside of the
building.
