Consumers and businesses have
never been more motivated to improve their energy efficiency and
it's never been a better time to consider adding Mitsubishi
Electric Cooling & Heating to your rebate and incentive
programs.
Mitsubishi Electric Cooling &
Heating is committed to promoting and encouraging
environmental awareness and supporting electric utilities in their
efforts to provide customers with energy efficient products and
services. Using energy modeling software, our Variable Refrigerant
Flow (VRF) zoning solutions have been compared with many types of
HVAC systems in major cities throughout the US. The results have
shown that our VRF systems are consistently 25% or more efficient
than traditional HVAC systems.
And, we are focused on continuously
improving our products to expand our portfolio of ENERGY
STAR® models and improve our SEER / EER ratings. More
Mr. Slim series systems than ever are ENERGY STAR rated and many
qualify for Federal Tax Credits offered with the American
Reinvestment and Recovery Act.
Other examples of our
energy-efficient approach to HVAC are:
- By delivering refrigerant directly
to the area to be conditioned, you essentially eliminates duct
losses which can run between 10 and 20 percent of total airflow in
a traditional ducted system
- INVERTER compressor technology
which is highly responsive to changing conditions and varies the
capacity of the system to match indoor space load requirements,
while responding to outdoor conditions. Fixed-speed systems operate
at either 100% or 0%, even though partial load conditions prevail
the majority of the time.
- Each indoor unit features advanced
expansion valve technology which allows for the precise amount of
heating and cooling to be delivered to each zone as defined by each
zone's load at any given time. There's no wasted heating or cooling
capacity.
- With zoned control, only the
spaces that are in use need to be conditioned and the comfort of
each zone can be controlled individually.
