Renovation and Addition

When a homeowner undertakes a renovation or addition to their home, they want to create welcoming and inviting spaces that take advantage of innovations in building processes and technologies. Nowhere is this more evident than in the world of HVAC solutions. With Mitsubishi Electric split ductless solutions, you can provide your customers with HVAC solutions that are more flexible and efficient than they ever thought possible.

Advanced split ductless solutions from Mitsubishi Electric take advantage of innovative INVERTER technology, which allows for better control over room comfort and greater efficiency. With a variety of configurations available from single-room spot cooling and heating to multi-zone ducted solutions, Mitsubishi Electric has solutions to meet just about any home renovation or addition need.

Flexibility to Fit Any Design
Depending on the renovation needs and the configuration of the original structure, Mitsubishi Electric solutions can be installed with or without ductwork. From the outside of the structure to the inside, only a 3" opening is required for two refrigerant lines and control/power wiring. It's the perfect solution for any home, particularly those with plaster walls or brick facades that were constructed before air conditioning was prevalent.

With a wide variety of outdoor and indoor units to choose from, you can configure the right solution for your project's needs. Outdoor units come in a wide variety of capacities and are compact and lightweight, making them easy to install and camouflage. And, with Line-Hide lineset cover systems, you can beautify and protect linesets, drainlines and wiring. Indoor units can be mounted just about anywhere in the room from within the ceiling, high or low on walls or in the floor.

Maximum Efficiency
While traditional systems waste energy by cycling off and on to achieve desired set point, Mitsubishi Electric's innovative INVERTER technology varies the compressor speed according to the cooling or heating load of a zone. And, with flexible control, you can cool or heat only the spaces that are in use. Learn more about the efficiency of our systems.

Quiet Operation
Both indoor and outdoor units of Mitsubishi systems have been thoughtfully designed to minimize disruption to home environments. The fans on indoor units deliver air quietly and continuously. Learn more.

Variety of Controls Options
For ultimate comfort control, your customers can choose from wireless remote controllers or wall-mounted, hard-wired controllers (wired remotes not available on all systems). The LCD wireless remote controller is easier to use than most TV remotes with large, easy-to-read displays and a variety of settings that can be controlled from anywhere in the room.
